incubus, that 90's band that defined the alternative rock scene with their experimental yet distinctive style. though they weren't overnight superstars, the band's career continues to soar high even after more than a decade of brilliant music.

one of my favorite songs, which is also a polytone in my fone is "are you in?"

and yeah, they also released their latest album light grenades.

hmm.. i remember one trip to the record bar and that album was a top seller! i also remember MCR's welcome to the black parade!

back in high school, i drooled over nsync and westlife.. and oh, new radicals and stacie orrico.but now that i am uh..not in hi skul, there are still stars that capitalize much on the young minds..

well, ive done pretty vanessa hudgens from disney's high school musical, but here's another disney star that appears to keep the search engines busy.
Miley Cyrus, more popularly known as Hannah Montana has captured the hearts of preteens and teens because of her character in the tv series hannah montana. she performs explosively onstage and is greatly talented, maybe that spelled the success for the the official soundtrack Hannah Montana where she performed more than eight songs!

last week i got to meet two new acquaintances..
an asthmatic attack triggered by all the smoke at the new year celebrations:
one that which i could feel my bronchioles constricting and i thought i was gonna die..
i mean, die, die!

another acquaintance was kenny wayne shepherd, a blues rock singer/guitarist that that earnestly devoted himself to the blues. His latest endeavor involves the upcoming release of his new CD-DVD package entitled 10 days out...blues from the backroads.

i wont die due to his music, but his oh-so-romantic stare. hahaha!

tom waits is a Californian singer-songwriter best known for his experimental music that incorporates rock and blues with pre-rock and folk. Though not the pop icon, he still has a cult following mainly because of his bizarre way of creating his music. Two of his works--bone machine and mule variations received Grammy Awards in 1992 and 1999 respectively. Last 2005, he just released real gone, another one of his brilliantly eerie works..

green day --was derived from a plant, addictive plant actually.
methamphetamine, or cannabis sativa i think(am not sure of that ah).. or simply marijuana..
they were the 90's alterbative rock band who gave the smash hit "wake me up when september ends"--dramatic, lyrical, patriotic.

i have been joking around with a friend of mine aboutmy wiki writing and asked him to check out one pretty girl that i finished writing..to my surprise, he im's me and screams..

dr. gregory house is the king of sarcasm, no doubt.
but he makes brilliant diagnoses!
he's like the grinch of christmas, or christina yang of grey's anatomy.
he likes to spoil everyone's happy moments.
nevertheless, he's still cool!

just imagine if 2pac was the patient of house, would he still be alive? can he still continue his beautiful works? greatest hits is the compilation that features his most renowned works.

of course i wont do the dishes coz ive been in the computer every day since i stopped with my volunteer work in the hospital. my mom thinks ill get my hands all shaky and painful.

their a post grunge band, so they’re kinda similar to nickelback and hinder. only they’ve got an Indian-inspired band name.

rhythmic, upbeat, a little classical and swingy. that's the music of amanda and abby. it's proportional to the life of the interns of seattle grace. realistically bittersweet.

ive been sick for a week..
while AND after taking care of people who are actually sicker than me.
i think i got the virus from them!

i actually miss them..even if they aren't all nice.

beck is one of those guys that came from the indie music scene and went mainstream. he's very weird i might say.. he belongs to a church of scientology, or something like that. but his oddness did not stop him from making good music. i think it actually made him better in a sense!

hurray for all the weird people in the world!

he also released the information , with all the cool stickers and stuff. it drove me crazy, seeing different covers in online stores, not knowing that those who buy the album are given the chance to decorate it themselves. coolness!

foo fighters 101

Foo Fighters has two meanings:

1. the underground (?) group sometime in world war two that was formed to study the mysterious appearances of flying crafts that was then believed to be like alien life forms or something..

2. the absolutely cool post-grunge band that shone in the mid-90's best known for the track "Big Me".

i'd stay up until 4 in the morning just to complete my marathon of Grey's Anatomy. i know, its a dvd.. i can watch anytime, but i'm hooked! im an addict! i can't help myself!

i was generally exposed to the red hot chili peppers because of my bestfriend that really liked them.

i liked them too, but not instantly.

i had to watch their videos aside from listening to their songs before actually appreciating what and who they are. generally they're just good. and what's better is that they released another album ( stadium arcadium ) just recently.

i hate local celebs who joke about "green" stuff..but foreign artists using explicit lyrics ans/or toilet humor is fine with me.whatever.maybe im an example of a person who lives in an era of colonialism.

i think that makes me bad.. hmm..

blink-182 is the best example of persons who extensively use humorous statements and sold them out to the market. whatever. maybe it sounds a lot better if they say it. and, guess what.. before the band actually disbanded, they give the fans a compilation of the songs that made them a part of every teenager or young adult: blink-182's greatest hits.

a week ago, we went back to the basics, no tv, no pc, no celphone, no nothing. it was sad to watch the houses breaking and watching the resident in our district hospital stitching two heads in a row, one having been hit by a flying roof, the other by a fallen tree.

after being devastated by the super typhoon milenyo here in the philippines, yup, i’m back, and i’m trying to make some more pages for the wmg.

whoo! my computer.. finally, something that works by electricity..

anyway..here ‘s something about james blunt.
james blunt: coming from a long line of servicemen starting from his medieval knight great grandfather to his army men father. a wonder boy of music who grew up in a household of military discipline and music is considered a waste of airtime. the only music he hears are silent night during christmas eve and happy birthday. he studied in a boarding school at age of seven and he slept his way through college, not sitting head on the desk but rather back flat on the floor. a genius who managed to earn a degree in aerospace manufacturing engineering and another in sociology eyes closed. he ended up the same way, sleeping, in the army (following the family lineage). where is the music? boredom. he fought in kosovo with a gun on his hand and a guitar on their tank. after the war he guarded the queen, buried the queen mother and pranced around london for the entertainment of the tourists. aside from that, he spent the rest of his time playing his guitar and singing
